Stop using disposable sponges

These DIY sponges are made from old socks. The sponges are not only easy to make, they are also machine washable, preventing the need to buy more sponges every few weeks and throw away the old ones.
Make a tawashi board (can be used for other projects) by hammering nails into a wooden board at measured intervals.
Cut socks and wind around the nails, weaving together
Weave together until only one handle is left.
